I photocopied the ’tiles’ from one sheet. I squared up onto the coloured paper, and then guillotined the coloured paper into strips leaving the children to do the final tile cutting. By using a piece of coloured card on which to build the design you are of course introducing an additional colour, so there’s no need to cover it allowing for more imaginative and flexible designs.
