The base is an old school climbing frame to which we fixed huge painted cardboard sheets to form the pirate ship. It has an above and below deck too!! The children had masses of input and decided themselves what they wanted to put in there. We have a huge treasure chest full of ….. Treasure. Writing opportunities include writing a treasure list and also making a treasure map. There is also a treasure chest filled with sand and each day new treasure is added .. Or taken away!! Enjoy!!
